This is my third appointment, having moved here in 2000 with my wife Heather. I hope you'll find Totley Rise a church moving forward, trying different things and exploring new ways of worshipping and serving God. As a church family we seek to share God's love and concern within the church, the community and the wider world. Our Vision Statement is, "Love the Lord, Love one another, Love your Neighbour, Go into all the World".

At TRM we join together for many different reasons. For worship on a Sunday but also to learn together in homes, to work with young people, to provide practical help to an older generation, and to meet for a variety of socials, including quiz nights, concerts, meals. All the activities described are open for you to join at whatever level suits you. You can come and receive, participate or even suggest something new. We are always open to new and creative ideas.

We know that a sense of belonging is important to many people, that we at some time or other search for answers to life's difficult questions. We don't claim to have all the answers but we can offer you a very warm welcome, and we hope, sooner than you think, a sense that you belong to an exciting, challenging, friendly group of people.
